I Love Love Love this series! "Marked" is the first book of the series House of Night ,which I believe has 12 books. I literally read the whole series and probably a week. I'm talking non-stop reading. I laughed , I cryed, I could not put it down! You will love it as much as i did if you love YA fiction. This series follows Zoey who has been marked as a Vampyre fledgling and can either make the change into an adult vampyre or reject the change and die.
Of Poseidon is an amazing spin off of life as a mermaid. Ok. I know. Mermaids? Really? YES! I loved how realistic and vivid every aspect of this book had. I read this in about a day. I love how it is told from Emma and Galen's perspectives. I would classify it as a "paranormal romance". I loved the characterizations and of course loved the underwater scenes, since I myself love being in the water!
So for those of you who don't know , this is the third book in Veronica Roths' Divergent trilogy. I was so so so excited for it to come out, and I have to say I was slightly disappointing. With the first two I could not put them down , like literally I refused to go out because I had to finish them ! With "Allegiant" it was hard to get into first , probably the first 50 or so pages were a bore. The middle of the book was fantastic , we learned more about the characters than in the previous books. But (SPOILER ALERT!) WHYYYY would you kill the main character... not even in an amazing way or anything it was kind of ... pointless. Anyways, if you are going to read the series, definitely read them all at once or you will get lost.
